2019 Muscat Beaume de Venise, sweet, % vol., Amadieu

Muscat a Petits Grains is the full name of the oldest and noblest Muscat grape, which produces the most intense flavor. The Beaume de Venise made from it is a vin doux naturel in which must fermentation is stopped by adding 96% alcohol. The wines have a minimum alcohol content of 15% vol. and a minimum sugar content of 100g/liter. The Muscat Beaume de Venise from Amadieu has a captivating aroma of flowers, ripe exotic fruits and honey. Despite the high sugar and alcohol content, its acid structure always presents it as racy and fresh. The color is golden yellow when young and can range to amber when older. The Beaume de Venise is an ideal accompaniment to foie gras or light fruit-based desserts.
