The fine-grained sea salt from Havsno has a slightly coarser consistency than what is usually referred to as table salt. The grains of salt are simply too large to pass through a standard salt shaker, but this salt was never intended to sit on the dinner table. We recommend a bowl of HavsnA¸ flake salt or a salt mill with coarse-grained sea salt. On the other hand, fine sea salt is perfect for baking or other recipes that require measured amounts of salt. The fine grains of HavsnA¸ sea salt mix evenly in your bread dough or other foods you make, giving the entire dish an even salt flavor.
