A 100% natural furikake made from dried umeboshi and red shiso. Shiso furikake is often made without umeboshi, but this fine product combines the best of the two basic ingredients, which have been aged for 3 years. Of course on freshly cooked rice or for onigiri. But also for dressings or Japanese pickles. Fukami is a 4th generation family business and grows its own ume (Japanese plum), which is then processed into umeboshi (pickled plum) and umesu (plum vinegar). The company is located in Wakayama Province, which is world famous for its Nanko Ume fruits. The ume and shiso that are processed here are grown without pesticides or artificial fertilizers.
