The aroma of this chili oil is incomparable! The chili used is a single variety and is grown in Japan and has a spicy heat paired with a sweet finish. Added to this are ginger, spring onions, star anise, cinnamon, mandarin peel and mountain pepper. Delicately balanced! With soy sauce for gyoza, ramen, tofu or the good Swabian Maultaschen! Yamada Sesame Oil Manufacturing Company was founded in 1934 by Yukata Yamada in Kyoto and has been family-owned ever since. The products are carefully hand-picked and obtained using traditional methods and only by pressing.
