DE-OKO-022 Rainer Sauer`s Gutssilvaner has aromas of ripe pears and dried apricots. Its density means it lasts a long time on the palate. A wine that is characterized by minerality and fine fruit aromas. The Rainer Sauer winery in Escherndorf on the Franconian Main river has relied on hand-picking for generations. The vines thrive here on steep slopes on the shell limestone soil of the Lump, whose individual microclimate has shaped winegrowing in this location for more than 1,000 years.
