2016 Rouge, dry 13.5% vol., Scheuermann, ORGANIC

The elegant cuvee of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon was bottled unfiltered after 20 months of maturation in used barriques. A ruby red color and the smell of blackberry, blackcurrant and herbs make you want more. On the palate, the cuvee is velvety, elegant and fruity. Surrounded by a pleasant structure of subtle wood, tannins and a certain maturity, the cuvee creates a harmonious overall picture. Almost like a light Bordeaux, an unbeatably good pizza-pasta wine, an all-rounder for cuvee lovers.
