2020 Classique, dry, 14.5% vol., St. Eugene

Full-bodied, juicy red wine from the Languedoc with a clear ruby red. Initially, the nose reveals green peppers, then dark berries and pleasant spice and barrique notes predominate in the glass. The high Syrah content gives it a smooth softness that makes it a great pairing partner for light meat - but it also goes excellently with braised dishes and cheese.
