2016 Terrum, dry, 13.5% vol., Can Axartell, ORGANIC

ES-ECO-013 IB Can Axartell is a winery located in the northeast of Mallorca, not far from the town and port of Pollenca. It is one of the most progressive wineries on the island and has a centuries-old history. The `Terrum` is a deep cherry red with light purple reflections. The aroma of this wine, which was vinified from the indigenous Callet grape variety, is characterized by sour cherries, red and dark berries. With a little air, fruit and thyme, laurel and juniper mingle with notes of cinnamon and chocolate. On the palate, the `Terrum` offers a lot of freshness with ripe, juicy fruit. The Callet is as transparent as a Pinot with power and clarity, lively acidity and a distinctive but ripe tannin structure. The wood is used discreetly and structuringly, without ever coming to the fore. In the `Terrum` the Callet shows off its full character - it is silky, elegant, lively and aromatic.
