2016 Ventum, dry, 15% vol., Can Axartell, ORGANIC

ES-ECO-013-IB Can Axartell is a winery located in the northeast of Mallorca, not far from the town and port of Pollenca. It is one of the most advanced wineries on the island and has a centuries-old history. The `Ventum` 2016 shows a dense purple with violet reflections. The nose is initially dominated by the Syrah with an intense play of aromas of juicy dark forest fruit, cassis and meaty notes. With air, Merlot and Callet come to the fore and offer notes of plums and blackberries, but also of leather and black tea. The palate shows ripe dark fruit with spicy notes of juniper and licorice.
