2016 Stairway to Heaven, Shiraz, 13.5% vol., Castell Miquel Mallorca

This wine has an intense purple color with youthful violet reflections. It presents a very elegant fruit with aromas of cherry and mulberry, and convinces on the palate with a lot of melting, very well integrated tannins and excellent length. A great wine, round and opulent. The Shiraz Stairway to Heaven goes perfectly with grilled or braised beef, lamb and game, but also mild cheese, gratins and Mediterranean specialties such as black olives and sausage specialties such as salami and chorizo.
