The winery`s latest project from old vines over 90 years old. 14 months of maturation in French barriques. Strong aroma of cherries and blackberries, fleshy and full-bodied on the palate. Only 1120 bottles were produced. In sun-drenched Toro, at an altitude of 700 meters, the Tinto de Toro - a clone of Tempranillo - grows from Bodega Vetus. The altitude and the associated cooler temperatures in the otherwise very hot Toro give the wines a beautiful acid structure and a certain class and elegance. The calcareous soils ensure the intense aroma of the grapes, which grow on 23 hectares. The wine is matured in barriques made of French and American oak.
