12 months of maturation in French barriques, spicy notes, herbal, juicy with fresh fruit, powerful and warm on the palate, great length in the finish, still has a future. A 100% Tempranillo. The Orben winery is located at an altitude of 650 meters in the Rioja Alavesa region. The vines, planted between 1939 and 1954, grow on 30 hectares, which are distributed over 74 small plots with a high clay and lime content. Thanks to the altitude of the vineyards and the Mediterranean-Atlantic climate influence, ripe and aromatic grapes are obtained, from which two Riojas of a modern and elegant style are produced, which have received high praise from the international trade press.
