Wakame is a dried seaweed (brown algae) that is used in soups or as a sushi starter. All you need to do is soak the dried seaweed in cold water for 5 minutes and it is ready to use. Seaweed contains hardly any fat, no cholesterol but many minerals and fiber. For the soup: let approx. 3g soak, squeeze out, cut into small pieces, add to the hot soup, done. 3 g is enough for approx. 5 servings. As a salad: Soak 3 g of wakame and squeeze out. Cut 1 cucumber and 1 carrot each into fine strips and add soaked glass noodles. Dressing made from 1 tablespoon sugar, 4 tablespoons rice vinegar, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil
