2018 Cuvee Katharina Tradition, brut nature sparkling wine, 12% vol., Raumland

Structured, harmonious Blanc de Noir sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir and Meunier grapes from the vineyards of Florsheim-Dalsheim. Cuvee Katharina is named after the younger daughter of Volker and Heide-Rose. The elegance of the Pinot Noir is complemented by the power and fruit of the Meunier. The scent reveals aromas of apple and red currant, as well as a subtle yeast note and walnut. As a Brut Nature, the cuvee is very puristic, acidic and taut, but still has a creaminess and fresh texture.
