Dashi Kombu seaweed is an important part of East Asian and especially Japanese cuisine. They are used as an ingredient in soups, salads, rice and noodle dishes and also for cooking sushi rice. The rice gets its delicate flavor by cooking a few pieces of seaweed before it is acidified.

Ingredients
Dried seaweed. Dried seaweed (Laminaria japonica). Consuming more than 3g per day can cause thyroid problems. Preparation: Carefully wipe Dashi Kombu with a clean, dry cloth so that as much of the white layer as possible remains on the surface. Then cut several times. Place seaweed in a pot with water and let stand for 6 to 8 hours. Simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes, then remove the seaweed. Do not consume. Use 3 / 4 teaspoon (3.4 ml) of the broth per serving, adding other broth to taste. Store in a cool, dry place and protected from light. After opening, store in an airtight container and use within one month Korean product.
