This wine is a collaboration between two friendly Palatinate winemakers, Thomas Hensel and Markus Schneider. The grapes grow between the Vorderpfalzer Ebene and the Haardtrand on gravelly, stony ground. This cuvee was composed of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, which matured in steel tanks and acquired a light woody kiss from 150 days of storage in used wooden barrels. Juicy and fresh on the palate with a medium body, nice acidity and a long finish carried by the subtle wood aromas.
