2023 Pinot Blanc, dry, 12.5% vol., Friedrich Becker

This elegant, refreshingly juicy estate wine grows on limestone and clay soils on both sides of the southern Palatinate-Alsatian border near Schweigen. After selective hand-picking, it was gently fermented. The subsequent extensive storage on its fine yeast in wooden barrels refines its fruity, stimulating aromas of ripe stone fruit, quince, vineyard peach and pear. Bright yellow reflections in the glass. Juicy and fresh on the palate, but also smooth and flattering. Harmoniously integrated acidity.
