Grown around Schweigen on the German and Alsatian side on limestone and sandstone soils. The vines are between 15 and 34 years old. Light yellow with pink reflections. The aroma is of light red fruit, rose hip and grapefruit. On the palate it is juicy, drinkable with a fresh character and a long finish. A wonderfully stimulating play of acidity. The light rose color is explained by the full ripeness of the pink Pinot Gris grapes.
