Deep, racy and with a downright sensual finish; a picture-book Riesling: opulence, elegance, fruit, everything in abundance. The winery was called Dr. Deinhard for over 90 years and has been using its historic name again since the change of ownership in 2007. It has 40 hectares of vineyards, 10 of which are Grosses Gewachs. With 80% of the cultivated area, the focus is clearly on Riesling, but Sauvignon Blanc is also gaining in importance. The new owner also brought the dynamic estate director Stephan Attmann to von Winning, who led the winery to the top of the Palatinate wineries with a lot of creativity and professional skill.
