Sambals, a speciality from Indonesian cuisine, are chilli peppers boiled down to a paste and seasoned with salt, pepper and sometimes onions, garlic, lemon and sugar. This sambal is a little milder and sweeter in taste.
Sweet seasoning paste. Ingredients: 36% ground red chili peppers (salt), ground onions (SULPHITES), sugar, caster sugar, sunflower oil, flavouring, ground fresh Laos, sereh, garlic powder, preservatives: E202, E211, E260. Store in a cool, dry and dark place.
