Champagne Roederer 1998 Late Release Deluxe ROSE, Brut, 12% vol.

This exceptionally warm year of 1998 produced generous, well-ripened, sweet berries with a wonderful range of fruity notes. The Late Release Rose shows its juicy, intense, wine-rich, crisp side: almost tannic, spicy and fresh. In the glass a bright, strong pink color. On the palate it is cheerful, wine-rich and full of character. The texture is flattering, gentle, very soothing. This rose champagne reveals itself immediately and unreservedly. It is at the same time gentle, sensual and delicious. The fresh, light finish with slightly bitter, ripe tannins provides backbone and prolongs the taste experience.
