The Pertois-Lebrun house was founded by the marriage of Paul Pertois and Francoise Lebrun, who combined their families` vineyards in 1955. Their daughter Odile took over the management of the winery. She was followed by her nephews Clement and Antoine, five generations later. The two brothers, who grew up in Provence, complement each other perfectly. Clement is the nature lover who is converting the 44 plots and 9.5 hectares in the Grand Cru towns of Cramant, Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger, Chouilly, Oger and Oiry to organic farming, while Antoine has given up his career as a management consultant and is now taking care of business matters. The excellent grapes from the old vineyards are now matured in the winery in stainless steel, wood or sandstone amphorae, depending on the cuvee. The brothers only produce Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru with plenty of power, minerality, liveliness and aromatic precision.
