Champagne Vazart Coquart 2014 Blanc de Blanc, Grand Cru, brut 12% vol.

The Vazart-Coquart `Special Club` Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2014 comes from the Grand Cru vineyards Mont Aigu and La Cerisiere in Chouilly. The average age of the Chardonnay vines there is 43 years. The vines have deep roots in belemnite chalk. The base wine comes entirely from the 2014 harvest. The base wine was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and underwent malolactic fermentation. The champagne matured in the cellar under cork and was disgorged a la volee, i.e. by hand, in November 2021 with three grams. `Special Club` is a special filling for the winegrowers` association Club Tresors de Champagne, which was founded in 1971 and is the oldest in Champagne.
