The apples for this Single Cask Calvados were harvested in 1988 and distilled in 1989. The Calvados matured for around 31 years in used Limousin oak barrels and was bottled at cask strength at the end of 2020. Ripe, rich and yet fresh, the bouquet of this Calvados is convincing! This is a very old Calvados that retains a beautiful freshness, with notes of candied citrus fruits (grapefruits, lemons), delicate bitterness and ripe apples that develop into white pepper and strong aromatic flowers (honeysuckle, lily). Only 198 bottles were bottled.
