Mild to medium fruity oil made from 60% Biancolilla and 40% Taggiasca from Liguria. Harvest slightly purple olives. Good reasons? Harmonious oil for fine seasoning? Versatile for fish, meat, vegetables and desserts Sensory properties On the nose it smells of freshly cut grass, Mediterranean herbs and has floral notes. On the palate, the Sicilian Biancolilla gives the oil a slightly bitter artichoke flavor. The finish has a subtle spiciness. Application It is a versatile oil that goes particularly well with vegetable dishes, fried fish and shellfish and cream cheese. But it is also mild enough for mayonnaise and for desserts such as vanilla ice cream.
