The blend from Liguria is fine to medium fruity. It consists of the varieties Biancolilla (60%) and Taggiasca (40%). The Sicilian Biancolilla gives the oil a floral aroma and a hint of artichoke. The finish has a subtle spiciness. It is a versatile oil that goes particularly well with vegetable dishes, fried fish and shellfish and fresh cheese.
