The fine-pored, crumbly traditional cake made from Type 00 flour, eggs, butter and lievito madre, the sourdough starter, is elegantly flavored with a paste of candied lemons. It comes with a small packet of powdered sugar, which you boldly put into the Pandoro packaging and shake to cover the whole cake.
