The house`s vintage champagne comes exclusively from the Grand Cru communities of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Cramant. Very mineral on the palate, dry, with aromas of brioche and roasted hazelnuts and great length on the palate. Grand Cru Chardonnay champagne in its purest form. Coming from two offspring of well-known winemaking families on the Cote des Blancs, Anne Gonet and Philippe Gimonnet founded their own champagne house Gimonnet-Gonet in 1986. Starting with 5 hectares, the family now owns 13.5 hectares, 6 of which are in the best Grand Cru locations on the Cote de Blancs in the communities of Mesnil-sur Oger, Chouilly, Cramant and Oger. Since 2012, their son Charles has been running the estate in the tried and tested manner. The vines are at least 40 years old, all qualities are vinified in steel tanks and mature on the yeast for 3-6 years, depending on the quality. All champagnes have the minerality and saltiness typical of the Cote des Blancs. They need some time to breathe and should be drunk from large glasses. Then they reveal their full greatness.
