2018 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling GG Reserve, dry, 13% vol., Dr.Loosen

The grapes for the RESERVE grow in `Im Laychen`, one of the oldest plots in the famous Wehlener Sonnenuhr with at least 130-year-old, ungrafted vines. This GG RESERVE thus perfectly reflects the characteristics of the large location `Wehlener Sonnenuhr`. It is often said that the Wehlener Sonnenuhr produces the most typical wines from the blue slate. They are considered to be very elegant, very fine and playful, with fine stone fruit aromas of white peach and a fine slate minerality; figuratively speaking, perhaps the ballerina among the Rieslings.
