For years the Rondolino family, knowing the value of the rice germ, thought about producing it pure, but encountered a thousand difficulties and only in 2019, with Umberto and Anna, found the solution. The rice bud is the embryo of the rice grain from which the germ develops that gives rise to the new plant; it is a very small part, only 2% of the grain, in which the most useful and important components for the new plant are found. The name Black was chosen because it refers to the characteristics of the rice, a black variety carefully selected by the Rondolino family for its exceptional properties.
