2022 Heritage Rouge, Cuvee, dry, 14% vol., Vieux Parc

The cuvee consists of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache and 25% Carignan. Notes of dark fruit with a little dark chocolate and hints of herbs. The wine has a nice length, a medium body and a long finish on the palate. With 13,000 hectares, the Corbieres is the largest sub-region of the Languedoc. The Panis family has been running the winery for five generations and cultivates mainly red grape varieties on 65 hectares of vineyards, 39 of which are in the AOC Corbieres. In addition to the classic southern French grape varieties, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are also grown on the clay, lime and gravel soils. The wine is grown with great respect for nature and the vines. Chateau du Vieux Parc is a member of the Vitealys association, which is committed to natural winegrowing.
