2023 Sancerre ROSE, dry, 12.5% vol., H.Bourgeois

Sancerre Rose is always a pure Pinot Noir. The refreshing wine has a seductive bouquet of ripe red berries. It is suitable as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to salads, pies or Asian dishes. The style of the house is rather classic. Great importance is attached to minerality, as this reflects the magnificently different terroirs of the Loire. The fruit bombs that are so modern and filling these days are not found among these wines. The Sancerre rose was still called Les Baronnes until the 2022 vintage. This addition has been omitted from the 2023 vintage.
