Desietra caviar comes from the Desietra GmbH aquaculture facility in Fulda. The Russian Osietra sturgeon (Acipenser gueldenstaedtii) is bred here without the use of chemical or pharmaceutical additives and hormones. Caviar production takes place every 14 days and enables absolutely fresh caviar of consistently top quality all year round. Desietra Osietra caviar is salted using a gentle process (Malossol) and offered without any preservatives or additives. It is borax-free and therefore not as sour as wild sturgeon caviar can be. With its typical nutty taste, it can definitely compete with top Osietra quality (wild sturgeon).
