The absolute top location among the 1st Crus. Power, depth, great minerality and a long storage life characterize this wine. The terroir of Chablis is characterized by a high proportion of Kimmeridge chalk in various forms, which gives the wines enormous minerality and a steely acidity and is also responsible for the long storage life. All of the winery`s efforts are aimed at expressing the subtle variations of the best individual locations. 40% of the 1st Crus are stored for 12 months in used barriques. William Fevre is the largest owner of Grand Cru in Chablis with 15% of the 100 hectares.
