2023 Beaujolais blanc Chardonnay, dry, 12.5% vol., Domaine de Colonat

Famous red wines come from the southern part of Burgundy, the Beaujoulais. This Chardonnay from the Domaine de Colonat proves that white wines also thrive on the special granite-dominated soils. This Chardonnay is very fine, varied and captivating in the typical Burgundy style without losing any of its freshness. 18 months of maturation on the fine yeast in wooden barrels gives it a great creaminess. The wine is characterized by subtle fruit aromas such as apricot and peach and nutty aromas such as fresh almonds.
