In terms of taste, this whisky represents Japan and its unique umami culture like probably few others. The use of rice and rice kouji gives it that special aroma and sweet finish that is so typical of the Japanese world of taste. A very well-rounded whisky, ideal for highball, which is how whisky is enjoyed in Japan. Matured in oak barrels, this is the first whisky from the Sato distillery in the Kumamoto province, which has been distilling shochu since 1905. This whisky is a certified original and available in Europe for the first time.
