Single malt whiskey Arran The Bothy Quarter Cask, 56.2% vol., Scotland

The Bothy from Arran is a single malt without a vintage and was matured exclusively in bourbon barrels. It was finished in quarter casks (125 liters). Medium-strong gold. Sweet aroma, barley with notes of vanilla, lemon and exotic fruits. Taste: Sensual with soft notes of oak, coconut and milk. A little saltiness and seaweed. Sweet with the intense light fruits, now candied. Butter cake, yeast plait, also blanched almonds. Getting drier towards the end, very nicely balanced. The finish is convincing with persistent vanilla, lemon and aromas of cheesecake.
