Single malt whiskey Caol Ila 2011 / 2022 Berry Brothers, 46% vol., Islay

This smoky Islay whisky at cask strength, matured in hogsheads, comes from the well-known and oldest British wine and spirits merchant, Berry Brothers. On the nose you can smell sweet vanilla cream, apple compote and plum jam. All of this is combined with peaty smoky notes. Taste: vanilla meets banana, the peat smoke is reminiscent of the smoldering remains of a campfire. The aftertaste is long-lasting with a powerful smoky note.
