Yellow rice wine (in Chinese `Huangjiu`) is the Chinese name for various types of grain wines made from rice and glutinous rice. Unlike Chinese Baijiu, these are not distilled but fermented. As one of Guyue Longshan`s luxury products, the quality of the Guoniang 1959 Green Jade speaks for itself. The yellow rice wine is traditionally brewed in Shaoxing and consists of original Huangjiu, which has matured for 40 years in traditional storage. Yellow rice wine, with its complex yet mild taste with a fruity note, is reminiscent of Spanish sherry. The rice wines have an alcohol content of 8 to 20 percent and are traditionally drunk warm.
