Koya is the first Chinese brandy and has been produced since 1892. It became famous thanks to Mao Tse Tung, who had it served at state banquets and liked to bring it as a gift when visiting abroad. At Changyu, brandy production is based on the French model of cognac. This brandy consists of 100% Ugni Blanc and matured for over 6 years in Limousin oak barrels. Typical aroma of preserved fruit, almond, hazelnut, coffee, fruit cake, tobacco, oak, milk chocolate. Crystal clear golden yellow color, soft and elegant in the mouth with a wonderfully floral and fruity taste. Medium body with a silky texture and a long, powerful aftertaste.
