Koya is the first Chinese brandy and has been produced since 1892. It became famous thanks to Mao Tse Tung, who had it served at state banquets and liked to bring it as a gift when visiting abroad. At Changyu, brandy production is based on the French model of cognac. This brandy is made from 100% Ugni Blanc and matured for over 10 years in Limousin oak barrels. Aroma characteristics: Scent of oak, sweet and gentle. Typical aromas: pear, toast, vanilla, scent of mature wine, jasmine, clove, dark chocolate, toffee. Crystal clear amber color, soft and elegant in the mouth with a rich, floral and fruity taste with spicy notes.
