The environmentally friendly alternative! Disposable cutlery made of PLA (polylactide / lactic acid) is biodegradable. A new type of material that is made from renewable plant-based raw materials. PLA can withstand temperatures of up to 45 degrees and is impressive due to its strength. This series has a natural feel. Please store in a dry, dark place. All cutlery made of PLA is natural material or materials that are 100% biodegradable and could therefore theoretically be disposed of in organic waste. However, many waste disposal companies in Germany do not allow this, which is why the products usually have to be disposed of in the residual waste bin. Certificates of biodegradability according to DIN EN 13432 are available. This certification confirms that the products are suitable for industrial composting. Please ask your local waste disposal company to discuss the regulations.
