2022 Pinot Gris, dry, 13.5% vol., Johner

The Pinot Gris grapes come from various vineyards with loess and volcanic weathering rock, which are responsible for the enormous minerality of the wine. Very nice, clear scent of ripe pears, melons and a hint of citrus. In addition, a fine spiciness from the subtle use of used barriques. The wine is very full-bodied, with power and a lot of meltingness thanks to the yeast. The well-balanced acidity provides an interesting interplay with a mineral tension. The winery always manages its vineyards according to its motto: Quality is created in the vineyard.
