2022 Seleccion DOC Rioja, dry, % vol., Izadi

Izadi recovers all the native white varieties of Rioja to produce a very special aged white wine based on the oldest vineyards in the area. DOCa. Rioja. Seleccion White is a cuvee of 61% Viura, 11% white Maturana, 10% white Tempranillo, 8% white Grenache, 5% Malvasia and 5% Turruntes, these aged in stainless steel tanks and a portion in new French barrels. The wine presents itself in the glass with a lemon yellow with greenish tones. Intense aromas of white fruit, citrus, tropical fruit and floral notes with a background of toasted and spicy aroma. On the palate it is a very structured, refreshing and tasty wine with notes of citrus and white fruit with a refreshing finish and hints of white flowers and light toast.
