2020 Crianza red wine, DOC, dry, 14.5% vol., Izadi

Matured for 14 months in barriques (American oak). A powerful and equally smooth Tempranillo with complex aromas of fresh raspberries, cranberries, rose hips, but also spicy notes such as vanilla, pepper and juniper, as well as a hint of milk caramel and coconut. The palate is characterized by a mouth-filling and velvety tannin structure that is perfectly balanced by the intensity of the aromas and the fruit extract - a balanced, complex and polished Rioja that has aging potential for the next 4 - 6 years. The Izadi winery is in its second generation of family ownership and is managed according to strict quality guidelines. 80% of the 100 hectares of vineyards are planted with Tempranillo, the leading grape variety in Rioja. The remaining 20% is made up of various red and white grape varieties. The grapes are harvested twice by hand, first in the vineyard and then in the winery on the sorting table. All Izadi wines are characterized by powerful density and beautiful balance.
