12 months of maturation in French and American oak. Deep cherry red, aromas of ripe fruit with a hint of sweet spices. Very structured, perfectly balanced and ripe tannins with a good acid structure. In sun-drenched Toro, at an altitude of 700 meters, the Tinta de Toro - a clone of Tempranillo - grows at Bodega Vetus. The altitude and the associated cooler temperatures in the otherwise very hot Toro give the wines a beautiful acid structure and a certain class and elegance. The calcareous soils ensure the intense aroma of the grapes, which grow on 23 hectares. All wines are matured in barriques made of French and American oak. 93 Parker points.
