On the nose, this wine is characterized by an elegant interplay of ripe cherries and various berries such as blackberries, wild strawberries and blueberries, as well as subtly underlining spicy notes of juniper and violet, which can also be found on the palate. A soft wine with round tannins and good substance, the classic Ahrburgunder par excellence. Aging: approx. 6 months in a large wooden barrel. At a drinking temperature of 15-16°C, it goes perfectly with many poultry dishes as well as pasta and mushrooms. Slightly chilled, it is also a spicy accompaniment to grilled, hearty fish dishes or shellfish.
