2022 Fruhburgunder, dry, 13% vol., Meyer-Nakel

Old vines, careful vineyard work, consistent yield reduction and gentle hand-picking characterize this Pinot Noir, which is matured and developed in used barriques for 12 months. On the nose, this youthful but also traditional wine is characterized by an interplay of intense dark forest berries, with some cherry and a little strawberry. Subtle elderberry and spicy juniper aromas can be found not only in the nose, but also on the palate. A full-bodied wine with round tannins and good depth.
