2021 Us de la Meng red wine cuvee, dry, 12.5% vol., Meyer-Nakel

The cuvee - made from Pinot Noir, Dornfelder and Pinot Noir - is a harmonious, fruity red wine with round tannins. Plum, blueberry and blackberry dominate the nose and the palate, in combination with spices such as cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and a hint of dark chocolate. Aging: approx. 6 months in a large wooden barrel. Served at 15-17°C, it goes well with hearty, hearty dishes such as sauerbraten or black pudding.
