This wine is a collaboration between the two friendly Palatinate winemakers Thomas Hensel and Markus Schneider. The grapes come from the communities of Bad Durkheim (Hensel) and Friedelsheimer Feldmark (Schneider). A little more than half of the pure Sauvignon Blanc `The Witch Hunter` was fermented in 500-litre wooden barrels (tonneaux) and the rest in stainless steel tanks.
